Our ratings are opinions. Every score, zone and verdict is our opinion, formed by applying our published methodology to public documents: a firm's own terms, rules pages, regulator registers and similar sources. We state facts only when we can link to a source.

Information changes. Prop firms change their rules, prices and terms often. Each page shows the date we last checked it. Always read a firm's current terms before you pay.

We may be wrong. If you see an error, write to hello@tradingisajob.com. We will check it and correct it. Firms can also ask for a correction or reply — see Corrections and right of reply.

Independence and links to firms. We are not part of any prop firm. When we have a relationship with a firm — past work, an affiliate link — we say so on the page. See How we make money.

The "Check your prop firm" tool gives a general result based only on the numbers you enter. It does not know your firm and is not a verdict on any named company.
